Our first parent informational meeting will be December 14 after second service.

This year the students will be going on mission in San Marcos, Texas. We have partnered with LeaderTreks to do mission work in the heart of Texas. We will be doing a service project for the community and leading a VBS at a church in the inner city.

Dates of the mission trip are May 31 to June 6. Students and adult sponsors will leave Oso Creek Church on May 31 at 12 p.m. and head to San Marcos. Students and adult sponsors will arrive back at Oso Creek Church on June 6 around 11:30 a.m. 

Students will be staying in a church that has showers, a kitchen, and separate sleeping areas for guys and girls. Students will need to bring a sleeping bag, air mattress, or other compact sleeping apparatus, along with bedding to go with it.

The total cost of the mission trip this year is $600. We will be doing a fundraiser to help cover some of that cost. That will cover the place we will sleep, transportation there, as well as all meals with the exception of Friday night.

LeaderTreks as an organization is partnering with multiple different ministry partners in San Marcos for the students to serve at.
